Procreate process and final digital outcome

For my digital outcome I used sketch up and procreate. After creating the building on sketchup, I used procreate to add the surrounding and some colours to the background for a better effect.

I started by dividing the page in two with the pencil tool to get a one point perspective

After that, I imported the building from sketchup to procreate by copying and pasting

Then, I refined the edges of the building to make them smooth and even. I then chose the colour blue for the the sky and green for the ground

I used the brush tool to add a little of white in the sky to make it more realistic and used the same tool to make the clouds but lowered the opacity of the colour to make the cloud match the light blue of the sky

After that, I chose a darker shade of green and used the paper daisy brush tool to make the bushes. I made the bushes by layering them from lighter tone to darker one to have a more realistic effect

And I repeated the same process for all the views

Eunine Fay Jones - Research

E. Fay Jones was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, USA on January 31, 1921. He spent his childhood in the rural Ozark Mountains, where he gained love for nature and the environment, which had an impact on his architectural designs later in life. After completing his studies at Rice University, he joined Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural practice, Taliesin Associated Architects, as an apprentice. He worked closely with Wright on several projects, including the renowned Taliesin West in Arizona (Compton, 2023). Fay Jones E. Fay Jones is famous for his natural architectural style, which includes integrating buildings with the environment, using materials like stone and wood, and incorporating geometric shapes inspired by nature. "Jones ignored architectural trends and instead focused on his own organic aesthetic with materials found in The Ozarks and familiar traditional forms from his home region"(mariathuroczy, 2013) . Final major project: Digital software

For my project I will use SketchUp to help me achieve my final design. SketchUp is an easy 3D modelling programme . Ideas Development - The Object lesson

For this task, we continued developing the initials idea we worked on last week to make them stronger. To do that we chose objects to help us expand our Ideas. The first step was to observe the object and answer questions such as "what does it make me think of" "does it have texture" " how can I adapt it to my initial idea". Then the second step was to write down all the associations with the object. I chose two objects for this exercise which were a ceramic house and an old piece of wood. The ceramic house displayed a visually textured yet smooth surface, embellished with vivid colours that produced a unique splashing effect. In contrast, the weathered piece of wood, aged and covered in a layer of sand, exhibited the enduring marks of time. I wrote down what these two objects made me think of and tried to develop my ideas based on them.
